Composite stone is a dense material cast from minerals and acrylic resin. It does not absorb water, so shower splashes and steam do not affect it.
Take a closer look. There are no joints.
The weak point of ordinary furniture is the surface. Once the foil or lacquer is damaged, water gets into the board and the board swells. Composite stone has no surface layer to come away: the same material runs right through.
Seamless
Basin and top are a single piece. No joints for dirt and moisture to collect in.
Shower-proof
Composite stone does not absorb water. Splashes and steam do not make it swell the way they do MDF or chipboard.
Repairable
Scratches and knocks are sanded away, and the surface is as good as new.
Hygienic
A dense, non-porous surface. That is why the same material is used in hospitals and hotels.
